WOODLAND REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Woodland Regional High School is a community of learners aspiring to develop citizens who are active and productive members of an ever-changing world. Together, in a climate of mutual trust and respect, we will create opportunities for students to acquire, analyze, and apply knowledge.

LONG RIVER MIDDLE SCHOOL

Long River Middle School seeks to provide the adolescents with a variety of learning experiences that will facilitate their intellectual, social, and physical needs. We strive to understand the unique characteristics of this age group and provide a child-centered program that promotes effective learning, development of self-worth, and a positive, safe, and supportive environment. We attempt to instill and refine independent and critical thinking.

LAUREL LEDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Laurel Ledge School services classes from Pre-School through Grade 5. Students have a rich and varied program which includes classroom and small-group enrichment. These experiences are provided through the Talented and Gifted program, as well as through other school-wide cultural events. Support services in reading and mathematics are provided for identified students. Students receive instruction in Reading, Language, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as instruction in Art, Physical Education, Health, and Music.

COMMUNITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Community School has 5 fourth grade and 5 fifth grade classes. Classes are supported by literacy, numeracy, talented and gifted, and special education specialists. All students at Community School receive instruction in Art, Physical Education, Health, and Music. Students in the fourth grade are instructed in the recorder, while fifth graders have the opportunity to receive instrumental music instruction. Fifth grade students participate in the D.A.R.E. Program. D.A.R.E is an acronym for Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education. This program is taught by local police officers to our students, and provides them with information, strategies, and insights in dealing with the pressures of today’s society. A graduation in early spring follows with Geoff Fox as an annual graduation guest and speaker.

ALGONQUIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Algonquin is proud to offer a superb program and talented educators. Together, these ensure the high quality of education given to all of our students. Algonquin believes in the "team approach", which frequently offers workshops for parents on a variety of topics -- developmental readiness, reading, math, homework tips, discipline techniques/strategies for parents, standardized test interpretation, divorce, death, student anger management, special education topics, etc. Working in tandem with students’ parents/guardians, students come to realize early on that learning is very important and is most necessary for success in life.
